James David Pickard, Jr.

James David Pickard, Jr., 84, entered into rest on Thursday, January 26, 2023.

David was born on July 28, 1938, in Paducah, Kentucky to the late James David Pickard, Sr. and Bernice Miller Gibbons. David was employed with Croft Mullins Electric Company for over 43 years, retiring as both owner and manager. He enjoyed his annual fishing trips to Alaska along with fishing any hole he could find. In addition, David was also an avid golfer for over 60 years.

Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ann; and siblings, Frederick Gibbons and Harriet Pickard. His memory will forever be treasured by his daughters, Katherine Pfohl (Frank) of Warner Robins, Cynthia Rivenbark (Mark) of Warner Robins, and Carol Lewis (Greg) of Alpharetta; grandchildren, Caroline Pfohl Peake (John) of Nashville, TN, Daniel Jesse Rivenbark of Dallas, TX, Margaret Viola Pfohl of Missoula, MT and Elizabeth Ashlyn Rivenbark of Warner Robins, GA; siblings, Chuck Gibbons, Laura P. Schelhorn (Alan), Pat G. King (Doug), Cathie G. Miller (Michael), and Sue Gibbons; along with many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, David will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of James David Pickard, Jr. to Tunnels to Towers Foundation at 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
