James Elrod passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2003 in Athens, GA. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October, 16 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Elrod was born in Jefferson, Georgia. He was retired from the United States Army and also from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. He was the founder and owner of Middle Georgia Aviation and has been a pilot for many years. His wife, Marie Elrod and father, James Terrell proceeded him in death.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan Beaumarchais, Bonaire; grandson, Justin Bickford, Bonaire; stepchildren, Janet and Steve Kaplan, FL; grandchildren, Lisa Kaplan, Jennifer and Jason Becher, FL; mother, Ruth Elrod, Athens; brother and several sisters in Athens, GA.
