Jim Proulx, Sr., 71, entered into rest on Saturday, October 17, 2015.
Jim was born on June 9, 1944 in Texas. With pride and honor, he served his country in the Army National and Georgia National Guard having held the rank of Staff Sargent. Following his military retirement he continued working at Robins Air Force Base until his second retirement from civil service. A 1962 graduate of Warner Robins High School, Jim enjoyed golfing, bowling, his church softball team, the outdoors; where he enjoyed walking and yard work, and singing in the choir at church. His greatest love was that of his devoted family. FaithPoint Community Church was his church home.
His loving wife, Patricia Proulx and parents, Eugene and Nadine Proulx, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Pastor Jimmy Proulx (Kristi) of Byron, Tiffany Proulx of Castle Rock, Colorado and Valerie Proulx of Byron and grandchildren, Bryson and Luke Proulx.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterwards, Mr. Proulx will be laid to rest in Georgia Veterans Cemetery.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Jim Proulx to Faith Point Community Church, 2024 Watson Boulevard, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.
