James Eldon Spry

James Spry, 52, entered into rest on Friday, May 24, 2019.

James was born on December 08, 1966 in Dearborn Heights, Michigan to George and Sybil Ann Spry. He was the Director of Engineering, Quality and Environmental at YKK. He had a love for small engines and enjoyed the outdoors, especially canoeing and camping. However, his first love and greatest source of joy was his family.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of twenty years, Hydi Spry; children, Matthew Scott of Byron, Allen Spry of Woodhaven, Michigan, and Hannah Lee Spry of Byron; parents, George and Ann Spry of Jennings, Florida; aunt, Pat Wooford; cousin, Denise Wooford, all of Jennings, Florida; nephew, Kevin Rapp and niece, Kaitlynn Rapp-Lange, both of Southgate, Michigan.

A memorial gathering will be held at McCullough Funeral Home on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of James Spry to the donor’s favorite charity.
