James Everett Burns

November 19, 1920 — March 25, 2005

James E. Burns, 84, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2005 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, at First Assembly of God with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27 at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Burns was born, November 19, 1920 in Ridgly, Tennessee, to the late Rubin and Willie Jackson Burns. A member of First Assembly of God, he was retired from Civil Service on Robins Air Force Base where he worked as a Quality Control Inspector. Mr. Burns proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. In addition to his parents, daughter, Sheila Quarles, preceded him in death.

Survivors include, loving and devoted wife, Isa L. Burns, Warner Robins; daughters, Jan Quarles, LaGrange; Katrenia Michelle Rice; and grandson, Brian Quarles, Warner Robins, and two great-grandchildren, Dalton and Landon Quarles.
