James Howell, 84, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2008.
Mr. Howell was born on November 6, 1923 in Hancock County, Georgia. With pride and honor he served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a flight crew member of the C-47 flying the hump in Burma. Mr. Howell was a member of Southside Baptist Church and in his spare time was notorious for making blue bird houses.
His loving wife, Agnes Howell and his parents, William and Beulah Howell preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his daughters, Judy Gay (Gene), Deborah Webb (Kenny), Linda Traylor (Kenny) all of Warner Robins, and Teresa Dickson (Lane), Kathleen; sixteen grand-children and fifteen great grand-children; sister, Willene Nickelson, Augusta, Georgia.
Visitation will be Monday, June 30, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
