James "J.C." Ivester

James "J.C." Ivester, 75, entered into rest on Monday, June 23, 2014.

James was born on November 26, 1938 in Carnesville, Georgia. He was a member of and attended Joyful Life Baptist Church. He was a retired carpenter and enjoyed fishing, Nascar, football, and baseball. James was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan.

His parents, Richard and Sara Segars Ivester, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty three years Shirley Ivester; sons, Kevin and Keith Ivester; grandchildren, Sydney and Landon Ivester, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to Joyful Life Baptist Church.
