James “J.J.” Brown, 20, entered into rest on Friday, October 21, 2022.
J.J. was born on July 9, 2002, to James Richard Brown and the late Sandra Kay Wrenn Brown. A man of many talents, he enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, writing lyrics, rapping and making people laugh. J.J. enjoyed gaming and was very crafty and inventive. He was very spiritual and enjoyed spending time with those that were closest to him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Ida Wrenn and uncle, Wayne Brown.
His memory will forever be treasured by his father, James Richard Brown; beloved sister, Jamie Reed; grandmother, Gail Brown; aunts, Brenda Tressler, Wanda White (Gary), and Debbie Huff (Tony); uncle, Steve Wrenn (Karen); cousins, Matt Tressler, Amber Mander, Brad Mander, Ashley Huff, Shannon Bosarge, and Sonya (Jamie); best friends, Jay, KeAndre, Max and Matt; and numerous other friends and family.
Visitation with J.J.’s family will be Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to a fund benefiting James Johnathan Brown. These gifts can be made payable directly to McCullough Funeral Home with “James Johnathan Brown Memorial Fund” written in the memo line.
