Warner Robins – James N. Johnson 75, entered into rest on October 18, 2010.
Mr. Johnson was born on May 26, 1935, in Sparta, Georgia. James retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he worked as a mechanic. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. James was a very talented musician, playing both gospel and country music. His wife, Minnie Lee Johnson, son, Mark V. Johnson and his parents, William E. and Claudia Gordon Johnson, all preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving children, William L. Johnson (Cheves), Jacksonville, North Carolina; Maria Johnson Wood (Greg), Owensboro, Kentucky; James Edward Johnson (Wendy); C.P. Johnson (Marsha), all of Warner Robins; eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild, brother, George Johnson, Gray; and so many other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday evening, October 21, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
