James P. Gill, 84, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2007 after an extended illness.
Mr. Gill was born on August 1, 1922 in Columbia, Mississippi but had lived most of his life in Warner Robins. He was of the Baptist Faith. James retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he was a Supervisor in Quality Control. With loyalty and honor, he also retired as Chief Petty Officer from the United States Navy. He was the former President of Happy Hour Workshop. His parents, Jesse and Cora Gill, preceded him in death.
He will be missed by his loving wife, Mickey Gill; children, James Michael Gill, both of Bonaire; Cheryl Khoury (James); granddaughters, Natalie and Andrea Khoury, all of Fort Valley; very special extended family, Paul and Lisa Gill and their children, Turner and Ethan Gill; David and Kim Gill and their children, Caleb Gill and Josh Saye; Linda and Thomas Parrish; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2007 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice 103 Westridge Drive Warner Robins, GA 31088.
