James Ralph Lowery

May 13, 1922 — July 12, 2003

Warner Robins, GA – James Lowery, 81, died Saturday, July 12, 2003 at the Houston Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, July 14 at the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Internment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Sunday evening at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Lowery was born in Washington County, Tennessee. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Navy. He was retired civil service from Robins Air Force Base as a mechanical engineer. He graduated from the School of Engineering at Auburn University. His wife, Dianne Hovey Lowery and parents, Elbert Franklin and Amanda Rebecca Lowery preceded him in death.

Survivors include his sons, William J. Lowery, Indian Harbor Beach, FL, and Monty L. Lowery, Perry; grandchildren, Jason Lowery, Andrew Lowery, and Angela Lowery, all of Warner Robins; Stephen Lowery, Perry; Jack Lowery, Augusta; and Alex Lowery, Augusta; sisters, Gladys Helton, Johnson City, TN, and Helen Yates, Jonesborough, TN; and great grandchildren: Bryce, Dru, and Maddison Lowery.
