James Walter Woods

James Walter Woods, 79, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 17, 2010.

Mr. Woods was born on July 20, 1931, in East Liverpool, Ohio, and had lived in Warner Robins since 1981. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Navy. He later worked at National Pest Control and then retired. His parents, Percival Woods and Pearl Jackson Woods, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Delores Cain Woods; children, James R. Woods (Patricia), Forsyth, and Deborah Bailey (Ted), Centerville; grandchildren, Thomas Puckett (Diane) and Jaime Lyn Mixter (Jason); and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, August 20, 2010, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon GA 31201, or to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
