Jim served as an unlisted man, starting off as a Private, and later as an officer, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He served a total of 26 years until his retirement. After his retirement from the Air Force, Jim became a Broker-Associate with several agencies, the last being Coldwell Banker Robbins Realty which merged into Colwell Banker Robbins-Free Realty. An avid traveler, Jim had the opportunity to travel throughout the U.S. and the world. Described as having a great sense of humor, he was forever keeping his family in stitches.
