Janet Laverne Moore

Late in the evening of Friday, September 8, 2023, Janet Laverne Moore entered the gates of heaven.

Janet was born on June 5, 1941, in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Benjamin Willard and Hazel Easterling. She was of the Baptist faith and adored her Lord and Savior. Janet enjoyed fishing, Pokemon Go, picnics at the pond, playing Yahtzee, being an avid supporter of Donald Trump and spending time with her loving family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lola Lee Roberts; granddaughter, Angela Brown and siblings, Hettie Rollins, Nettie Neher, Claude Willard, Bob Willard, Ted Willard, Billie Faye Moore. 

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Hazel Yvonne France; grandchildren, Jennifer Crystal Smith (Frederick), Hazel Ann Smith and Fredrick Leroy Hartsock, Jessica Roberts, and April Guelker; sister, Shirley Thornton; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special friend to the family, Tryghve “Buddy” Mossman and many “adopted” children and grandchildren.
