Janice Anita Borchert

Janice Anita Borchert, 60, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Born in Perry, Georgia on July 7, 1960, she was an amazing mom to her children and worked as a friendly cashier at the Base Restaurant on RAFB. She enjoyed painting, singing, and bald eagles, but spending time with family was where she was happiest. God’s Church of Worship and Praise in Macon was her church home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnell F. and Patricia Wright Goodman.

Janice is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, John Roland Borchert; children, Jennifer Wilson, John Doug Bryant, and Vanessa Wright, all of Warner Robins; stepchildren, Jonathan Borchert of Macon, Kayla Pope of Warner Robins, and Christy Edwards of Macon; 18 grandchildren; and siblings, Terry Goodman (Nina Carol) of Marshallville, Jeff Goodman (Denice) of Danville, and Tina Wilson (Alan) of Perry.

A memorial service celebrating Janice’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 30, 2020 at God’s Church of Worship and Praise in Macon. She will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. that afternoon.
