On the evening of Wednesday, March 6, 2019, Janice Marie Gilmore, joined her beloved husband of 36 years, Billy “Bill” Gilmore, in heaven. She was 62 years old.
Janice was born to the late Donald and Gladys Hubbard Wagner on June 28, 1956 in Newnan, Georgia. She retired from GE Capital as a trainer. Janice loved crafting and spending time at the beach; she would have lived there if she could have. She also possessed deep love and affection for her family and had a unique relationship with each one of her grandchildren. Janice had a “pistol” of a personality and heart of gold. Precious memories of her will always remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Janice’s memory will be fondly remembered by her loving daughter, Lindsay Gilmore-Hudson (Jason) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Nathaniel Stiverson, and Jaimee and Georgia Hudson; sisters, Denise Creel of Dublin, Ann Hall of Ohio, and Leigh Yim of Ringgold; and several adoring nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Janice will be laid to rest next to Bill in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Gilmore’s arrangements.
