Janie Wylene Clark, 77, entered into rest on Thursday, September 18, 2014.
Janie was born on April 26, 1937 in Lumber City, Georgia. She was a wonderful homemaker. Janie was a member of First Baptist Church of Centerville and very active in the Sutherlin Sunday School Class. She was devoted to her church family, husband, children, and grandchildren.
Her son, C. Bruce Clark, parents, James and Eula Clyde Smith, sister, Myrtie Green, and brothers, Frank Smith, Phillip Smith, and Willie Smith, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of sixty-one years, Calvin Clark of Warner Robins; son, Robert Clark (Wanda) of Warner Robins, daughter-in-law, Debbie Clark of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Amanda Brown (Bert), Justin Clark (Tabitha), Laurel Clark, and Amy Clark; great grandchildren, Savannah Clevenger, Logan Brown, Addison Brown, Aiden Clark, and Chloe Pugh; and sister, Runelle Elton of Milledgeville.
The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Centerville on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA. or First Baptist Church of Centerville, 108 Church Street, Centerville, GA.
