Early on the morning of Saturday, October 8, 2022, Jason Daniel Ross, 49, entered the gates of heaven.
Jason was born on October 14, 1972, in Warner Robins, Georgia to the late Abram “Dan” Ross and Sandra Gordon. Growing up in Warner Robins, he was a 1991 graduate of Northside high school and earned his Bachelors degree in Biology from Georgia College. Jason worked for the US Fish and Wildlife Service in Modesto, California for two years. He then moved to Maysville, Kentucky and on to Athens, Georgia while working with Conagra. Jason married Lindsey Bliss in 2004 and they had three beautiful children. An outdoorsman at heart, he loved to duck hunt, saltwater fish and had a vast knowledge of birds and wildlife. Jason enjoyed gardening, loved taking care of his yard, golfing, and cooking. Jason had a big heart and adored his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved children, Jessa, Craig and Banks Ross of Mt. Vernon, Texas; sister, Emily Greer (Nathan) of Macon; nieces and nephews, Ellis, Ross and Bowen Greer; stepfather, Jerry Gordon and stepmother, Elana Castro Ross.
