Jeanette M. Greenman

February 11, 1929 — April 15, 2017

In the late evening hours of Saturday, April 15, 2017, Jane Greenman went to be with her Lord and Savior.

On February 11, 1929, Jane was born in Aurora, Illinois where she grew up, attended high school, and worked for the Elgin Watch Company. Later, Jane met and married her beloved husband, the late Robert Eugene Greenman. She traveled with him during his Navy career until his retirement. They then moved to Merritt Island, Florida, where they raised their family and enjoyed boating and their involvement with the Power Squadron. Jane's family was her highest priority; she was a loving homemaker who always saw to her husband and daughters' needs. She had a zest for life that was shown through her giving spirit; she would lovingly give money to needy people on the roadside. Jane was known as the "Queen of Hospitality"; always wanting to make others comfortable. She enjoyed entertaining, cooking, planning menus, decorating, and coordinating events. Jane was also a crafty person and enjoyed making decorations for the many parties she hosted. A devout Catholic, Jane was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she also helped coordinate events for the Golden Hearts Group.

Her husband, Bob Greenman; parents, Arthur and Sylvia Harwig; and sister, Bernice Beach, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Dawn Harrell (Michael) of Corinth, Mississippi; Debbie Moore (Michael) of Perry; grandchildren, Taylor Feeney and Janea Feeney; brother, Arthur Harwig (Delores) of Wisconsin; sister-in-law, Virginia Holt of Minnesota; and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A memorial mass will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mrs. Greenman will be laid to rest at Parkway Memorial Gardens in a private ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Jeanette M. Greenman to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 300 S. Davis Dr. Building 300, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
