Jeanette Walker

On the afternoon of Saturday, October 21, 2017, Jeanette Walker, 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior.

Jeanette was born on June 13, 1937 in Montezuma, Georgia to the late W.D. and Bessie Lowe Walker. She was a devoted and loving homemaker; her family was her highest priority. Jeanette was a servant of the Lord and loved praising Him at her church Piney Grove Baptist Church in Montezuma. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her garden. However, her greatest joy came from time spent with her beloved family and church family.

Along with her parents, her son, Charles Fields, Jr., and brothers, General Walker and John Thomas Walker, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Gloria Story (Richard) of Montezuma; Daniel Turner of Oglethorpe, Georgia; grandchildren, Daniel Turner, Jr.; Daniyah Turner; Braxton Zion Turner; Tinichia Story; Richard Story, Jr.; Charles Field, III; Nicole Fields; Sashia Fields; Brandon Fields; 15 great-grandchildren; and siblings, John Walker (Mattie); Katie Collier, and Minnie Sneed.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Piney Grove Baptist Church.
