Jennifer Lea Pritchett, 41, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 1, 2008.
Ms. Pritchett was born on August 22, 1967, in Etowah, Alabama. She graduated from Southside High School in 1985, and then received her degree in 1989 from Auburn University. She moved to Warner Robins in 1990 and taught at Tabor Junior High School prior to teaching at Warner Robins High School, where she was also a cheerleading coach. She continued her career at Houston County High School, where she also coached cheerleading and taught the gifted students in AP European History and Humanities classes. Ms. Pritchett was awarded Teacher of the Year during the 2006-2007 school year. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, where she played on the Lady Saints softball team.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her mother, Sharon Burke Hyde (John), Alexandria, Alabama; father, Doug Pritchett, Gadsden, Alabama; step-sons, Jeff, Daniel and Grant Busbee; brothers, Jeff Pritchett (Sharon), Southside, Alabama, and Chris Pritchett, Venice, California; niece, Ally Pritchett, Southside, Alabama; step-sisters, Jacquelyn Keener, Janet Kyle James and Michelle Caricofe; step-brothers, Jay and Josh Hyde; and eight step nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Father Martin Bagay officiating. A private burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, 1708 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins GA 31093.
