Jerry H. Talley, Msgt. Usaf (Ret)

Jerry H.Talley, 69, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2006. A rosary will be held Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial mass will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Sacred Heart Church Building Fund 205 S. Davis Drive Warner Robins, GA 31088

Mr. Talley was born on December 30, 1936 in Montgomery, Alabama. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina. Mr. Talley retired from the United States Air Force with twenty two years of service, where he served during the Vietnam Era. During his length of service he was honored with many distinguished awards and recognition. Upon retirement he went to work for and remained for twenty years at the United States Postal Service, Northside Station. He was an avid golfer and a true Alabama football fan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty L. Thompson, his parents, Howard and Evelyn Talley, and his brother, Glenn Talley.

Survivors include his loving wife of thirty years, Alexandra Talley, Warner Robins; children, Michael Talley (Donna), St. Simons Island; Kimberly Sharp (John), Richmond, TX; William Kimbell, Macon; Jeffrey Andersen (Lesley) Staten Island, NY; John Christopher Andersen, Macon; grandchildren, Jennifer McInnis, Centerville; Melissa McInnis, Richmond, TX; Erik C. Andersen, Staten Island, NY; Nicholas, Jessica, Noah Andersen, all of Warner Robins; and sister, Barbara D. Talley, East Point, GA. He is also survived by his loving Nana, Anna Candalas, sister and brother-in-law, Christina and Harold Provitch, Suffern, NY and many loving nieces and nephews.
