Jerry Judson Flanders, 53, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2017.
Mr. Flanders was born on January 17, 1964, in Kite, Georgia to the late S.J. and Johnnie Mae Roberts Flanders. After moving to Warner Robins during his formative years, he worked at ENSCO before beginning his career as a carpenter. In his free time, he loved to be outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 37 years, Sue Flanders; daughters, Amanda James of Warner Robins and Tiffany Sorrow (Hank) of Perry; and grandchildren, Sarah James, Hanna Sorrow, Tucker Sorrow, Noah Martinez, and Sadie Sorrow.
Visitation with Mr. Flanders’s family will be Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 8, 2017, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with the Reverend Bert Flanders officiating. Following the service, Mr. Flanders will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to a fund benefitting Jerry J. Flanders. These gifts can be made payable to McCullough Funeral Home with “Jerry Flanders Memorial Fund” written in the memo line.
