Jerry Lee Parks, 32, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2006. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 22, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Masonic Tyrian Lodge 111, P.O. Box 506, Warner Robins, Georgia 31099.
Jerry was born on August 10, 1974 in Manhattan, Kansas. He worked in civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he was employed as a Technical Data Editor. He also served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force during Desert Storm. He was a member of the Masonic Tyrian Lodge #111. Jerry graduated with Honors from Saks High School in Anniston, Alabama and also received his bachelor’s degree from Macon College in Computer Science. He was an avid sportsman and loved hunting and fishing.
Growing up, Jerry was a member of the RA’s in his local church (Grace Baptist in Tullahoma, TN) where he was very active in taking care of the elderly. He was especially good at making people laugh and smile.
Survivors include his parents, William and Judith Parks, Jacksonville, Alabama; brothers, Billy Parks, Ohatchee, AL.; Deny Parks, Anniston, AL.; Ronnie Parks, Jacksonville, AL.; grandmothers, Alveree Stamper, Tullahoma, TN.; Joanne Parks, Schoolcraft, MI.; aunt, Sharon Darnell, Tullahoma, TN.; and several nieces and nephews.
