“Upon a lake of dreams,
Majestic ducks take flight
Into the endless blue sky,
As the wind leaves a loving whisper of goodbye.
The blessing of life
And all its splendor one can see
Holds a garden of peace
With his final memory.
Through the light of faith and creation divine,
He has now left this earth far behind.
For his soul has finally reached heaven’s door,
And is welcomed into paradise forevermore.”
Poem written by: Jerry’s son, Brent.
