Jesse C. Harrell

Jesse C. Harrell, 80, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2006. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Centerville with interment following in Centerville Cemetery. Reverend Mobley Cross and Reverend Larry Partain will officiate.

Mr. Harrell was born on April 5, 1926 in Early County, Georgia. He was co-owner of Harrell’s Greenhouses and Nursery for 37 years. He was a WWII Army Veteran, and he was retired from Civil Service on Robins Air Force Base. He was also a member of Central Fellowship Baptist Church. Mr. Harrell was a devoted husband and a family man who loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a sincere, earnest, and loyal friend and will be greatly missed by this community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Presley C. and Mattie Harrell, two children, and nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Beanie Harrell, Warner Robins; son, E. Ronald Harrell (Jackie), Centerville; son, Jimmy L. Harrell, Perry; daughter, Rita Harrell Hoy (Stephen), Centerville; sister, Josephine Temples (Mack), Blakely, GA; six grandchildren, Leslie Vincent (Barry), John C. Harrell (Kristi), Jesse D. Harrell (Keri), Jennifer L. Harrell, Philip A. Hoy, and Stephanie L. Hoy; four great-grandchildren, Audrey, Reed, Allie, and Rylan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
