Jewell Estelle Wade

Jewell Wade, 89, entered into rest on Thursday, February 14, 2019.

Jewell was born on July 30, 1929 in Jasper, Alabama to the late Grady and Mary Ethel Williams. She devoted her life to caring for her family and was a long time member of Second Baptist Church. Jewell enjoyed her time outdoors working in her garden and she took pride in cooking and caring for her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mack Carnell Wade; sons, Dennis Wade and Don Wade and grandson, Dennis Wade, Jr..

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Patricia Warren of Statesboro; grandchildren, Bradley Wade (Angela) of Statesboro, Michael Wade (Tessa) of Kathleen, Patrick Wade (Robin) of Warner Robins, Brian Wade (Nikki) of Perry, Christine Wade and Charlotte Wade, both of Atlanta; nine great grandchildren and sisters, Katie Parsons (Gary) of Lincoln Park, Michigan and Lorene Snow (Ed) of Huntsville, Alabama.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 19, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Afterwards, Mrs. Wade will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to a fund benefiting Jewell Wade. These gifts can be made payable to McCullough Funeral Home with “Jewell Wade Memorial Fund’ written in the memo line.
