Jill Resseger Debona

Jill Resseger DeBona was 71 years old when she passed away at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital on Monday, July 27, 2020. Born in Willard, Ohio, Jill was the daughter of the late James and Jane Gardner Resseger.

She proudly graduated as valedictorian of the 1967 Northside High School class and worked for Dr. Dan Callahan for many years. While her children were in school, Jill enjoyed volunteering as a room mother. She was a wonderful wife, great mother, and awesome grandmother. Jill especially loved her grandchildren and has left an unforgettable imprint on their hearts.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of 50 years, Johnny DeBona; son, Jon-Michael DeBona (Gina) of Tampa, Florida; Ashley Deal (Grant) of Ludowici; grandchildren, Abbie, Kyleigh, Ryan, Ava, Rhett; brothers, Jim Resseger of McDonough, and Stanley Jones of Milledgeville.

Visitation will be Friday, July 31, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with a memorial service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
