Jimmie Lou Whitworth

Mrs. Jimmie Lou Whitworth, 69, entered into rest Tuesday, July 20, 2010.

Mrs. Whitworth was born on February 25, 1941 in Calhoun, Georgia. Of the Baptist faith, Jimmie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Jimmie always put her family first and truly enjoyed time spent with them. Her parents, Arthur and Ethel Defoor, and sister, Irene Griffin, all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband of forty six years, Lamar Whitworth; sons and daughters in law, Lane and Jeannine Whitworth; Derek and Monica Whitworth, all of Macon; grandchildren, Katie, Chloe, Ivey, Ramsie and Cal; and brothers, Roy Defoor and Donald Defoor.

Visitation will be Friday, July 23, 2010 from 1:30 p.m. until service time at Ingleside Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2010, in the chapel of Ingleside Baptist Church. Pastor Rob Farr and Pastor Mark Hudgins will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 6333, Macon, Georgia 31208.
