Jo Ann Leininger

Jo Ann Leininger, 84, entered into rest on Sunday, November 12, 2023.

Jo Ann was born on October 14, 1939, in Hazleton, PA to the late John Valuck and Anna Dindoffer Valuck.  She graduated from Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing in 1960 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She then began working as a registered nurse at the hospital where she met her late husband, John. They married in 1964 and moved to Warner Robins, Georgia in 1966. Jo Ann enjoyed reading, bowling, cross stitching, needlepoint, and jigsaw puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, John Leininger.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Jennifer Hilburn (Wayne) of Warner Robins, GA, sister, Julie Kresge, and nephew, John Kresge, both of Hazleton, PA, along with several cousins and other loving family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Andersonville National Cemetery, where Jo Ann will be laid to rest next to her husband, John.
