Jo Nell Schultz

January 9, 1933 — November 28, 2002

Mrs. Jo Nell Schultz died at home on Thursday, November 28, 2002. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 2, 2002 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Hand Bell Fund, 336 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, GA, 31088.

Mrs. Schultz was born in Cobbville, Georgia and was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base where she had been a Supply Systems Analyst. She was a member of the Newcomer’s Club, the Civilian Wive’s Club and past-president of the NCO Wive’s Club. She had served on the Foundation Board of Central State Hospital, the Peachbelt Mental Health Advisory Board, and the Consumer Task Force for Region 8 of Mental Health. Active at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church where she was a member, Mrs. Schultz had served as state and local treasurer of Church Women United, Zone President for LMWL, and in 1990 she received the Valiant Woman’s Award for Church Women United of Greater Warner Robins. Her parents, Joe Wallace Welch and Bessie Lou Welch, a sister, Ruenette Appleton, and two grandchildren all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Lyndon F. Schultz, Warner Robins; sons, Joseph C. Easterling, Byron; James D. Easterling, Jr., Bonaire; daughter, Judith Ann Woods, Byron; brother, Wallace R. Welch, Warner Robins; niece, Arecia Appleton, Warner Robins; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
