Joan C. Tarpley

Joan C. Tarpley, 44, passed away after a short battle with cancer, Monday, August 25, 2003. Services will be held on Thursday, August 28 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to Joy in the Journey, Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 1647 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA 31093.

Mrs. Tarpley was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, but lived in Warner Robins most of her life. She worked as an LPN at Coliseum Medical Center and was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Tarpley, Warner Robins; parents, Earl L. Card, Jr., and Betty Card, Chattanooga, TN; sons, Ryan Tarpley, Conroe, TX; Robert Tarpley, Warner Robins; and Jake Tarpley, also of Warner Robins; sister, Debbie Card Hairel, Conroe, TX; brother, Robert E. Card, Anchorage, AK; niece, Rachel Hairel, Dallas, TX; and nephew, Christopher Hairel, Baltimore, MD.
