Joanna Faye Mathis

JoAnna F. Mathis, 66, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.

Born in Maine on February 20, 1951, JoAnna was the daughter of the late Ralph Ayer and Mildred Grace Grover. She was a longtime and much-loved waitress at Waffle House and enjoyed arts and crafts, animals, and spending time with her grandchildren. JoAnna will be remembered by all who knew her as a strong woman who had a deep love for her family. She will be sadly missed.

In addition to her parents, JoAnna was also preceded in death by her stepfather, William "Daddy Bill" Grover.

JoAnna leaves her memory behind with her son, Joseph E. Robillard and his children, Michael, Stephanie, and Nicholas; her son, Jamie R. Robillard and his children, Ashley, Dylan, and Jamie II; her son, Jesse L. Stinson, his wife, Sheila, and their daughter, Joan; her daughter, Jenneymae Hawkins, her husband, Jason, and their children, JoAnna, Jessica, Joshua, and Jillian; and her siblings, Wanita Flarherty, Sandra Hanscom, and Mark Grover.

At the family's request, all services will be private.
