John A. Crenshaw, 93, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 27, 2011.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, the Reverend Andy Cook and Dr. Napp Granade officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
Born On June 14, 1917 in Morvin, Alabama, Mr. Crenshaw proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He subsequently was employed in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base; at his retirement after thirty seven years of loyal and faithful service, he was the Chief Security Officer in the Law Enforcement Office. He was a 32nd Degree Mason (Mobile, AL). He joined Shirley Hills Baptist Church in 1967 and was a member of the Keenagers. He was predeceased by his parents, Cleveland Sion Crenshaw and Cora Ellen Armistead Crenshaw.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of 64 years, Margaret Fendley Crenshaw, Warner Robins; sons, John Crenshaw (Peggy), Warner Robins, Gary Crenshaw (Amy), Connecticut, and Richard Crenshaw (Robyn), Conyers; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
