John A. Urquhart

Warner Robins – John A. Urquhart Sr., 71, died Sunday, June 22, 2003. Services will be private. The family will receive friends at their home, 212 Sonja Drive, on Sunday, June 29, from 2:00 until 5:00 pm.

Mr. Urquhart was born in Phoenix City, AL. He served in the United States Air Force and participated in the Korean Conflict and was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. For many decades he was a singer, song writer and musician in the local area. His parents, George Clifford Urquhart, Sr. and Blanche Herz Urquhart preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Urquhart, Warner Robins; children, Johnny Urquhart, Deandra Betancourt, Roger Urquhart, Sandy Urquhart; step-children, Jim Langston, Warner Robins, Tim Langston, Warner Robins, Kimberly Green, Warner Robins, Donna Rogers, Warner Robins; sister, Eugenia Funk, Phenix City; four grandsons; three granddaughters.
