John Allen Forehand, Sr.

Bonaire -- John Allen Forehand, Sr., 77, died on Saturday, April 20. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 23 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation.

Mr. Forehand was born in Cordele, GA. He was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base after 40 years. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army. Mr. Forehand attended Bonaire Baptist Church and he enjoyed baseball and walking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Mobley Forehand and Alma Speer Forehand.

Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Forehand; sons, John Allen Forehand, Jr., Byron; William Wayne Forehand, Bonaire; daughter, Sheila J. Borden, Perry; sisters, Helen Greer, Cordele; Annette Kinard, Macon; Edith Cole, South Carolina; brothers, Talmadge Forehand, Cordele; Dwayne Forehand, Vienna; C.M. Forehand, Pinehurst; Carl Forehand, Tennessee; and eight grandchildren.

McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
