John Douglas Hoskins

Warner Robins – John "Johnny" Douglas Hoskins, 78, passed away Monday, December 20, 2010.

Mr. Hoskins was born on June 24, 1932 in Norfolk, Virginia. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Army for thirty years before retiring in 1980. Currently he was active civil service at Robins Air Force Base as an electronic technician. He was a 33rd Degree Mason and was involved in many community activities throughout the years. He was well known for loving good Scotch and the electric slide. His son Leonard Hoskins preceded him in death.

He was well known for being a devoted husband, father and friend. Survivors include his loving wife, Clara Hoskins of fifty-three years, two daughters, Sharron Hoskins and Ureena Hoskins, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Elder David Thomas officiating.
