John Dudley Jones

John Dudley Jones, 86, entered into rest on Thursday, May 16, 2013.

Mr. Jones was born on February 10, 1927 in Mount Sterling, Kentucky to the late Dudley M. Jones and Eads Wilson Becraft. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Taylor County. With pride and honor, Tech Corporal Jones served his country in the United States Army, enlisted during WWII. John was an established Farmer and an entrepreneur who owned multiple businesses. He truly enjoyed farming and gardening. A true American Patriot, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Greg Jones, Dayton, Ohio; Bradley Jones (Angela), Warner Robins, Georgia; Jeff Jones (Sharon), Woodstock, Georgia; Doug Jones, Dayton, Ohio; Misty Douglas, Washington, Illinois; brothers, Bruce Jones, San Antonio, Texas; Sonny Becraft, Raymond Becraft, both of Georgetown, Ohio; grandchildren, Steve Jones, Ashley Riddle, Brittanni Jones, Cassondra Jones, Brandon Jones, Courtney Jones, Forrest Jones, Drake Jones, Mark Douglas, Ryan Douglas; great grandchildren, Jakob Riddle, Conner Riddle, Jason Jones, and Maria
Jones.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Antioch Baptist Church, 2093 Thomaston Highway, Butler, Georgia 31006. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be mailed to Antioch Baptist Church at 14 East William Wainwright Street, Reynolds, Georgia 31076.
