John L. Bailey

John L. Bailey, 57, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2007.

Mr. Bailey was born on May 20, 1950 in Gary, Indiana. He was an Air Force veteran serving during the Libyan Crisis. He recently retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he was a Division Chief in Maintenance. He was an adventurous man who enjoyed traveling and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. John enjoyed spending time with his family.

He will be missed by his wife of sixteen years, Theresa Everett Bailey, Warner Robins; children, Michelle Eastman, CA; Matthew Bailey, CO; Nicholas Bailey, MO; mother, Norma Jean Bishop, IL; three grandchildren, brother, Terry Bailey, CA; half brother, Paul Bishop, IL; mother and father-in-law, Sidney and Pauline Everett, NC.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2007 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be on Sunday, July 29 at 1:00 p.m. in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Eagle Springs, NC. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity in memory of Mr. John L. Bailey.
