John Thomas Honican, 75, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2004 at Houston County Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 20, at the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 19 at McCullough Funeral Home.
Born in Lexington, Kentucky, Mr. Honican was a retired from Civil Service at RAFB. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Mr. Honican was a member of the Tyrian Lodge in Warner Robins, a member of the Al Sihah Temple and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Martha Berry Chapter 351. Preceding him in death were son, John Thomas Honican, Jr.; and parents, Harry Dean and Geneva Bell Honican.
Survivors include, wife of 47 years, Ruth D. Honican, Warner Robins; daughters, Rhonda Andrews, Harvest, AL; Judy G. Hodgin, Conyers, GA; Jackie G. Wood, Gordon, GA; son, Robert C. Gardner, Macon, GA; brother, Donald Honican, Winchester, KY; sister, Norma Jean Colliver, Lexington, KY; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
