John W. Pfannkuche died Thursday, November 28, 2002 at his home. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 30 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Evergreen Baptist Church.
Mr. Pfannkuche was born in Porterdale, Georgia. He was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Korea. He was a member at Evergreen Baptist Church where he was also the Director of the Crisis Pregnancy Center. His parents, Arthur and Irene Pfannkuche, and two sons, Jimmy Pfannkuche and Garry Pfannkuche, all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara P. Pfannkuche, Warner Robins; daughter, Belinda Bryan, Athens; son, Larry Pfannkuche, Warner Robins; brother, Troy Pfannkuche, North Ridge, CA; grandsons, Michael Bryan, Lawrenceville; Joseph Bryan, Smyrna; John Bryan, Athens; Sarah Bryan, Athens; Christopher Pfannkuche, Centerville; Gabriel Pfannkuche, Centerville; and great-grandson, McGinnis Bryan, Lawrenceville.
