John W. “Bill” Trunnell, Jr. 73, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 19, 2005 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Bleckley County.. Visitation will be Friday, March 18, 2005 from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mr. Trunnell was born in Cochran, Georgia. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He graduated from Cochran High School, University of Georgia, and Mercer Law School. He was currently practicing law in Warner Robins and had several other branches. Bill was a Real Estate Broker, a former President of the Georgia Cattleman’s Association, a rural mail carrier and cattle farmer. He ran for state senate in 1984 and the Assistant District Attorney in Peach County. He also conducted many law seminars in Warner Robins. His parents, John and Eva Trunnell; sister, Ann Lyles preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Trunnell, Warner Robins; daughters, Amy Morris, Athens; Blair Trunnell, Warner Robins; sons, John W. Trunnell III, Atlanta; Kevin McCall, Warner Robins; sister, Eleanor Whipple, Perry; grandson, Brandon Sullivan, Colorado; several nieces and nephews.
