John Wayne Lashley

John W. Lashley, 73, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.

John was born in Rochelle, Georgia on August 6, 1945 to the late Luther P. and Mary Britt Lashley. He was a simple and happy man who proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He later worked in installation and repair at Southern Bell where he retired. In his free time, John enjoyed golfing and shooting.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 39 years, Annette L. Lashley; and three Lacey brothers, Lonnie, James H. and W. Earl Lacey.

John’s memory will forever be treasured by his loving son, Robert E. Lashley; brothers, Cecil Lashley (Mari Anne) and Gary Lashley (Rebecca J.); and numerous nieces and nephews.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Lashley’s arrangements.
