Johnnie F. Hamm, Jr.

Johnnie F. Hamm, Jr., 67, entered into rest on Monday, December 2, 2013.

Johnnie was born on August 6, 1946 in Nashville, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force. Johnnie retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he was an Aircraft Maintenance Scheduler. He enjoyed spending time with his family, enjoyed fishing, collecting bells and was an avid sports fan; especially baseball. Johnnies' dedication and love to his family and friends, witty attitude and infectious smile will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His parents, Johnnie F. Hamm, Sr. and Sarah Helen Scarborough Hamm; one sister, Cheryl Taylor, all preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife of forty-eight years, Susan Odell Hamm, Kathleen; children, Johnnie F. Hamm, III (Sylvia), Bonaire; Jeff Hamm, Marietta; Jill Wood (Gary), Bonaire; sister, Phyllis Rivers, Dallas; four loving grandchildren, Kyndall, Riley, Hayden, and Mikalah; and many extended family members and friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be Wednesday, December 4, from 6:00 p.m. until 8: 00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
