Johnnie F. Mccord, Sr.

Warner Robins – Johnnie F. McCord, Sr., 81, entered into rest on Friday, December 31, 2010.

Mr. McCord was born on December 23, 1929, in Andalousia, Alabama. A retired store manager for Suwannee Swifty, he was a member of the Centerville and the Warner Robins Senior Clubs, and was of the Baptist Faith. His parents, William Glenn McCord and Viola Varnadore McCord, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of 60 ½ years, Mable Monk McCord, Warner Robins; son, John F. McCord, Jr. (Laura), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Stephanie Runyan (Gabriel), Adam McCord (Rebecca), Kelly Fries (Casey), and Joseph McCord; great-grandchildren, Zachariah Runyan, Tristan Fries, Ian McCord and Preston Fries; sister, Hazel Mooney (Dorphus).

Visitation will be Monday, January 3, 2011, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home, immediately followed by a funeral service in McCullough Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Jerry Walls officiating. Interment will be in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
