Johnnie Fay Kincaid, 78, passed away on the morning of Saturday, October 26, 2024. Born on December 30, 1945, in Eastman, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late James C. and Grace B. Etheridge.

A woman of the Christian faith, Johnnie's love for the Lord, Jesus Christ, guided her throughout her life. A devoted member of Friendship Baptist Church, she embodied the spirit of generosity and kindness. Known for her loving nature and a heart of gold, Johnnie touched the lives of everyone she met. Her selfless desire to help others earned her the reputation of being an angel on earth, and she was deeply loved by family and friends alike. Johnnie also had a successful career as a Logistics Management Specialist on Robins Air Force Base, where she retired.

She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her. 

In addition to her parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald B. Kincaid; daughter, Shona Kincaid-Yates; and sister, Mattie Jones.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Allison Foltz (Tony); grandchildren, Carson, Kaylee, Peyton, Lincoln, and Ellie Foltz; cousins, Vonda Fuller, Jennifer Fuller, Judy, Jennie Fuller (Dan), Anissa Holder (Ashley), and Bobby Garrett (Brenda); mother-in-law, Mattie Kincaid; nephews, Jonathan Jones (Collette) and Tyler Jones; great-nieces, Chloe and Kaylee, as well as special friends, D.J. Jones, and Pat Peck.

At the family’s request, all services held will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Johnnie Fay Kincaid to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
