Joseph Barron "J.B." Moss

J.B. Moss, wonderful husband, father, and grandfather entered into rest on Friday, August 5, 2016.

J.B. was born on May 23, 1934 in Macon, Georgia to the late Carl and Mary Edge Moss. He retired from Carolina Freight as a truck driver and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Twiggs County. Mr. Moss loved his family dearly and holds an extra special place in his heart for each of his grandchildren.

His memory will forever be treasured by his devoted wife of 63 years, Barbara Jean Moss of Kathleen; sons, Howard Moss (Linda) of Kathleen and Gene Moss (Cheri) of Bonaire; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 7th from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 8th in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterwards, Mr. Moss will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of J.B. to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Donation Processing, P.O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 27741.
