Joseph Wayne Hubbard, 61, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
Joseph was born on September 16, 1963, in Mobile, Alabama to the late Gaines L and Annie Jo Hubbard. After earning an associate degree, he spent 20 years working at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, five years working at 13WMAZ, and was a proud notary public. A hobbyist at heart, he enjoyed being an amateur ham radio operator and collected Coca-Cola memorabilia. He was an active member of First Baptist Church in Bonaire. Additionally, Joseph volunteered with the Red Cross disaster relief and was a regular blood donor. His blood type was used to save babies during critical transfusions, a testament to his generosity. He will be deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Smith.
His memory will forever be treasured by his siblings, Judy Hubbard, David Hubbard (Sherry), and James Hubbard; nieces and nephews, Jessica, Christopher, Katlyn, and John; great-nephews, Ryan and Hunter; and his four-legged companion, Carley, along with many other loving extended family members and friends.
