Joseph ''Joe'' Goodman

Joseph ''Joe'' Goodman, 60, entered into rest on Saturday, February 4, 2012.

Joe was born on April 20, 1951 in Portsmouth, Ohio. He served thirty-seven years of civil service with Robins Air Force Base and was of the Catholic faith. An avid Ohio State University fan, Joe was a 3rd Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Warner Robins Dart Association. His dart team was called the Beer Bums at Friends on the Hill. He was also a Certified Barbecue Judge with the Florida Barbecue Association. His father, Philip Lloyd Goodman, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Andrea Moncrief (Clay), Roberta; grandchildren, David and Katie Moncrief, Roberta; mother, Dorothy Elanor Eckstein Goodman, Portsmouth, Ohio; sister, Barbara Glockner (Andy), Portsmouth, Ohio; brothers, Dan Goodman, Portsmouth, Ohio and Mark Goodman (Teri), Roanoke, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Roberta City Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. The family will accept flowers or donations may be given to The Knights of Columbus, 133 ½ Commercial Circle, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
