Joseph John Dzencelowcz, Jr., 67, entered into rest on Sunday, May 29, 2011.
Mr. Dzencelowcz was born on July 25, 1943 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1987. Joseph was an avid fisherman and gardener. Of the Roman Catholic faith, he attended Our Lady of the Skies at Robins Air Force Base. His parents, Joseph and Celia Jankouski Dzencelowcz; and one sister, Regina Tergerson, all preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Linda Anne Dzencelowcz, Warner Robins; children, Mary Chando (Patrick); Lucille Leichliter (Chuck); Josette Dzencelowcz-Bailey; Joseph John Robert Dzencelowcz ; sister, Antoinette Mundstock (Harold); brother, John Dzencelowcz (Kathy); and so many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening, June 1, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Our Lady of the Skies Chapel with Father Thomas J. Fey, Lt. Col. USAF (Ret) officiating. Interment will be in Andersonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to The American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street Ste. A, Macon, Georgia 31201 or to The American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Road # 359, Macon, Georgia 31210.
